1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to TrueCV, operated by VLS Technology Pvt. Ltd. (“TrueCV”, “we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website (www.truecv.com), mobile applications, and all related services. By using TrueCV, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
2. Services Provided
TrueCV provides job-seeking and career enhancement services, including resume writing, ATS score evaluation, LinkedIn profile optimization, interview preparation, and related consulting. TrueCV may use technology, artificial intelligence, and automated tools to deliver insights and recommendations. TrueCV does not guarantee employment, job offers, interview calls, or hiring outcomes. Our services are designed to enhance your job application materials and improve your visibility to employers.
3. User Registration and Account Security
To access certain services, you may need to register by providing accurate, complete, and updated personal information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account. TrueCV reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or engage in misuse.
4. Use of Services
You agree to use TrueCV only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You shall not upload, post, or transmit any unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing material; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks; misrepresent your identity or upload someone else’s resume without consent; copy, modify, or distribute any material from the website without authorization; or use TrueCV for spam, fraud, or deceptive practices.
5. Resume Upload and ATS Evaluation
When you upload your resume to TrueCV, our system analyzes it using AI-based algorithms to calculate an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) score. This score is an indicative measure of how well your resume matches standard job descriptions and formats used by recruiters. It is not a guarantee of job success or interview shortlisting.
6. Payments and Refunds
TrueCV offers both free and paid services. Payments are securely processed via authorized payment gateways. All prices and offers are subject to change without prior notice. Refund requests, where applicable, must be made within 7 working days of purchase. Refund eligibility will depend on service utilization. Digital services (such as resume review or ATS evaluation reports) are considered delivered once generated and are non-refundable. Refunds will be processed via the same payment mode used during purchase.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on TrueCV, including text, software, design, graphics, logos, icons, and images, is the property of VLS Technology Pvt. Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of the platform without written permission.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
TrueCV collects, processes, and stores user information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By using TrueCV, you consent to such data collection and usage. Personal information may include name, email, phone number, career details, and uploaded resumes. We may use your data to send alerts, job suggestions, and marketing communications. You can opt out anytime by unsubscribing through our communication or contacting support@truecv.com.
9. Communication and Notifications
By creating an account, you authorize TrueCV to send notifications, service updates, promotional messages, and security alerts via email, SMS, or WhatsApp. You may choose to opt out of marketing communications while continuing to receive essential service notifications.
10. Limitation of Liability
TrueCV strives for accuracy and reliability but makes no warranties regarding the results of resume analysis, job alerts, or employer responses. We are not responsible for any employment or hiring outcomes based on your use of our services; any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform; or any data loss, interruption, or unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability, in any event, shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.
11. Termination
TrueCV reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in misuse. Upon termination, your access to certain features and data may be permanently deleted.
12. Changes to Terms
TrueCV may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of our platform after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The latest version will always be available on our website.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ambala, Haryana.
