Job description Design, develop, and test software applications using Java and Spring Boot. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements. Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient code. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality. Implement automated testing and deployment scripts. Work closely with other developers to rapidly build, test, and deploy enhancements to browser-based applications. Plan and design system/software modules and test requirements, completing estimates for modules under development. Implement performance and quality modules, review customers' standards specifications and other documentation to determine requirements, and complete software documentation. Drive continuous improvement in the assigned areas of responsibility, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills. Utilize analytical thinking and independent/structured time-management skills to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate the ability to learn new concepts, business processes, and software quickly, along with strong technical/analytical skills when resolving IT-related issues. Manage multiple priorities and projects in a customer/business-focused, team-based matrix organization. Job Requirements Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and MVC. Experience with SQL Database and RDBMS knowledge. Good understanding of Testing and TDD, including hands-on experience with JOOQ. Knowledge of Frontend technologies such as Angular JS/Vue JS/React. Familiarity with Functional Programming Kotlin Coroutines and exposure to stacks other than Java. Experience with Application packaging and deployment, OAuth based authentication/Authorization, and CI/CD. Must have experience working in international teams. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Kotlin. Exposure to Terraform and Eclipse/VS Code is desirable. Proficiency in GIT/Bitbucket and Agile Scrum is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical thinking, and independent/structured time-management skills are essential. Ability to learn new concepts, business processes, and software quickly, along with strong technical/analytical skills when resolving IT-related issues. Strong intercultural understanding and empathy. Travel for business may be required but is not initially planned or guaranteed.
