Job description Position: Site Supervisor Department: Projects / Operations Reporting To: Site Manager / Site Engineer Role Purpose: The Site Supervisor shall be responsible for supervising day-to-day construction activities, ensuring work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role involves coordinating manpower, monitoring site progress, and supporting smooth project execution. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily site activities and monitor work progress. Ensure construction activities are executed as per approved drawings and specifications. Coordinate with Site Engineers, contractors, and workers for smooth execution of works. Monitor manpower deployment and productivity at site. Ensure adherence to quality standards and project requirements. Verify materials received at site and ensure proper utilization. Maintain daily site records, progress reports, and work logs. Monitor safety compliance and ensure workers follow safety procedures. Assist in measurement verification and quantity tracking. Report site issues, delays, and resource requirements to the Site Engineer/Site Manager. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers as required. Support timely completion of project activities. Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering. Requirements Minimum 2 years of professional experience in similar work environments. Experience in civil construction site supervision. Experience in monitoring construction activities and workforce management. Knowledge of construction practices, quality standards, and safety requirements. Experience in infrastructure, building, road, bridge, slope stabilization, or related civil engineering projects will be preferred. Desired Skills: Basic knowledge of construction drawings and specifications. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to manage workers and site activities effectively. Knowledge of quality and safety practices. Problem-solving and organizational abilities. Basic computer knowledge and reporting skills.
