Job description What you'll do- Following are the key tasks that this role will perform: Act as named architect for large and strategic ECS customers in the APJ/EMEA region, addressing architecture-related topics and challenges throughout the customer lifecycle. Interact with Pre-Sales and Sales on deal requirements (customer-focused solution design) Support ECS Delivery and ECS Customer Delivery Engagement in critical customer situations and projects. Engineering and prototyping of new services as part of the ECS CAE Innovation and engineering process. What you bring- IT Industry experience of more than 8+ years in SAP-Technology Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Business Administration High proficiency in customer communications, project management and presentations High proficiency in the SAP product portfolio, offerings, and industry solutions. Good understanding of SAP solutions (releases, platform interdependencies etc.) Solid hands-on and know-how with SAP technologies like SAP NetWeaver, Business Objects, SAP HANA, SAP Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) and Solution interdependencies in a cloud environment. Knowledge of SAP basis technologies, Network/Web technologies, LINUX based infrastructures, IT Security, IT Business Continuity, including High Availability and Disaster Recovery Good understanding of capabilities of at least one Hyperscaler (AWS, MS Azure or GCP). Knowledge of SAP System Security would be an advantage. Good understanding of ITIL-based operational aspects (Application or Technical) of SAP solutions in a cloud environment.
