Job description Job Summary Testing Grounds Pvt Ltd is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support and coordinate logistics operations for our export business. This entry-level role is ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to build a career in logistics and supply chain management. The selected candidate will assist in procurement, transportation, shipment coordination, and supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery of goods to international clients, particularly in the United States. Key Responsibilities : Logistics Management Assist in coordinating logistics operations from procurement to final product delivery. Support transportation planning and ensure smooth movement of goods. Maintain logistics records and documentation accurately. Shipment Coordination Track shipments and monitor delivery schedules. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely deliveries. Help resolve shipment delays and logistical issues under supervision. Vendor and Carrier Coordination Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transportation partners. Assist in obtaining quotations and maintaining vendor records. Support contract and service agreement documentation. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and reduce operational costs. Assist in implementing logistics and supply chain best practices. Contribute ideas to enhance delivery performance and customer satisfaction. Performance Reporting Maintain logistics data and prepare operational reports. Monitor key logistics metrics and support performance analysis. Provide regular updates to management regarding shipment status and logistics activities. Compliance and Documentation Ensure logistics documentation complies with company policies and international shipping requirements. Support adherence to safety regulations and quality standards. Stay informed about industry regulations and export procedures. Qualifications and Skills Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field. Experience Freshers are encouraged to apply. Internship or project experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or export documentation will be an added advantage. Technical Skills Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other MS Office applications. Familiarity with ERP or logistics management software is a plus. Key Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
